Angela Hill: Sharp and serious. Hill is the Mayor of Lakecrest City. She has been voted in mostly due to her competent handling of city matters as a council member and as someone who helped maintain infrastructure well despite the changes seen in Elkhorn. Clearly as the mayor, she takes city affairs very seriously and is usually found with other representatives of the supernatural factions settled in Lakecrest. Angela is usually hard to get a hold of unless you have some important status and political power which will catch her eye.
Alfred Bernard: Old and venerable. Alfred Bernard is a known teacher of the supernatural nature of the Mystic Kind. In fact, he is known as an accomplished Magician from the Guild. He knows many secrets of the Magician’s Guild and some of the Mystic Kind factions as he once worked as covert operative of the Magistrates. However, he rarely talks about such things. Now he just wishes to stay as a teacher and stay out of the politics of the supernatural factions. It’s very easy to meet up with him if you wish to give him a free meal or even come to him for tutoring. He’s very open about supernatural knowledge and is a great resource. However, he will keep his mouth shut about his involvement in the factions. And you better know he can back it up with his skills.
Alice Kwon: Young and rather looks like she’s in her teens. She is clearly shy and is an obvious bookworm. However, she is a young “prodigy” that was able to skip various grades in elementary and high school. As of now she graduated from college and is trying to make ends meet as a librarian.
Silvio Pittaluga: The heir to one of Europe’s notoriously brutal demon families, Silvio’s presence in Lakecrest has made a great many souls uneasy – while he appears formal and polite unlike the thugs his family are known for, there is little doubt his appearance and his clear efforts in getting involved in the city’s politics are warnings of things to come. Although they lack actual crimes to pin ot him, the nobleman is constantly in suspicion from fellow members of Lakecrest’s administration; particularly the mayor who would especially appreciate it if there wasn’t a daemon Mafioso haunting about her city for quite understandable reasons. Despite their misgivings, though; Silvio is yet to appear as anything but a man of professional interests in the city’s development; particularly in the matter of small business and industry – to many, he appears to instead be turning over a new leaf in his life and leaving his family’s violent past, rather than living up to their infamy.
Although polite and gentle, Silvio comes off as very distant to most of the city’s denizens; rarely making appearances beyond business meetings behind closed doors – and yet, he is open to all and any visitors to his luxurious studio apartment hidden away in the administration district. Insistent on his good intentions, he answers every question with consideration and a nary a harsh word… but, it often seems like his silver tongue is simply too good to be true. Indeed, there are often rumours that the daemons that are often involved in violent scuffles with the anti-supernatural citizens of Lakecrest are of his family; or that a small business falling on hard times that he buys out of what seems like generosity is a dirtier matter than it appears; or perhaps that human lady he once spent so much time with died from something apart from a tragic boating accident – but Silvio naturally denies all such claims with the same ease as all else.
Perhaps his most enigmatic prospect is Silvio’s relationship with the supernatural communities beyond the city – anyone looking for less savoury work than what Lakecrest offers are often directed to the daemon, whom handles all kinds of requests from the neighbouring factions as a sideline to his business. Though most information regarding them is left on a need-to-know basis, it is certainly known that combat experience is very much appreciated by the daemon for this ‘contract work’… but it’s all in the city’s best interests, as he always insists.
